Meet the Artists Reception - Spring Zing - Art in the Tearoom

Art in the Tea Room at the Woman’s Exchange Welcomes Spring!

Spring is in the air and colorful art adorns the walls in the Tea Room at the Woman’s Exchange of Memphis with its new exhibit Spring Zing!

On display and available for purchase from March 23 through June 19 are eighteen artworks by fourteen local artists: Jan Condle, Laura Edwards, Jerry Ehrlich, Suzanne Evans, Jane Fulmer, Carol Hamm, Bill Harris, Matthew Lee, Pam Olson, Felicitas Sloves, Joe Umphress, Patsy Wadlington, Melody Weintraub, and Carol Adamec. Their talents depict a plethora of blooms, blossoms, and bouquets in watercolor, oils, acrylics, mixed media, ceramics, and woven tapestries.

During the exhibit showing, there will be an afternoon Artists’ Reception Wednesday, April 29, 2:00-4:00, offering the public the opportunity to meet and chat with the artists in the show. The event is free and light refreshments will be served.

Art in the Tea Room is a WE program intended to build awareness and provide support to working artists in the Memphis area. All artworks exhibited in Spring Zing! are for sale and can be purchased and taken home that day to enjoy at home.

Artwork viewing is available during regular business hours—Monday through Friday, 10am-4pm, along with additional special events scheduled other days and times throughout the run of the exhibit.

The Woman’s Exchange, located at 88 Racine Street in Memphis, is a nonprofit organization with the mission of Helping Others Help Themselves. Visit the Woman’s
